Made for us by our English cabinetmaker with an eye toward serving double duty as an office console, or a dining room credenza, this walnut burl server appears to have 16 drawers. However, with a nod toward functionality, only the first eight drawers across the top are small; the bottom row consists of double-faced file drawers, suitable for files or larger dining room pieces, depending on application.
